Ashly Stone was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and raised in St. George Utah. She loves running half marathons, riding bikes, and being outside in the St. George sunshine. Professionally, she is the Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer for a software company in the addiction recovery space. Ashly married Jesse Stone, who is also featured on the podcast for his own addiction recovery and comeback story, with whom she has two beautiful children, ages 7 and 3. She loves being their mother and cherishes that role.
Ashly grew up in a faithful Latter-Day Saint home. Despite her parents' good example, she got into drugs and alcohol at a young age, which steadily drew her further and further away from the safety of the church. After years of debilitating addiction to various substances, including heroine, she was finally able to get clean with the help of the Book of Mormon and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She has been in recovery for 10 years, and has spent many of those years helping those who are still struggling. That desire to help led her to found the Come Back Podcast, featuring stories of those who have come back to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ashly hosts the podcast and also shares her own story on various platforms whenever possible. Speaking of the podcast Ashly said, "I feel like it is my duty to share these stories– with so much negativity online, so much attacking, so much arguing and debating– these stories are a witness of the incredible miracle of the Savior's atoning sacrifice."
