Trent grew up in the midwest United States between Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. He served a Cambodian-speaking mission in San Francisco, CA, and afterwards graduated from BYU Provo in the early 2000’s. While at BYU he met and married Rhonda Palmer from Chandler, AZ. Over their 25+ years together, Trent & Rhonda have created a rich life which now includes their 5 children, 2 sons in law, 1 daughter in law, one grandson, two doggos, and 5 chickens. The Wardwells moved to Utah in 2012 to be closer to family and currently live in Saratoga Springs. Trent loves sports (The University of Michigan), Indie / Alternative rock music, and clocks 2K+ miles a year as an avid marathon runner. He works in the Fintech / Identity Verification space in Solutioning and Delivery roles.

Trent discovered the Come Back Podcast in early 2023 after a spiritual prompting led him to seek out uplifting content to accompany his morning runs. Later that year Trent reached out to the podcast to get his sister Missy interviewed as a guest to share her story of returning to the gospel after struggling with drug addiction (S1 E65). Having served in many church callings over the years as well as having worked closely with individuals struggling with addiction, he loves the opportunity to support and champion this larger mission through the Come Back Podcast. Trent lives every day with hope and faith to one day see some of his closest family members return to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
